Friends of the Monroe County Historical Society & Museum
The Monroe County Historical Society and Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of Monroe County History. Individual annual memberships are available for $10.00 and family memberships are $20.00. As a member you have the right to sit on the museum board. The museum is supported by Monroe County funds and staffed by local volunteers. The Historical Society and Museum are always in need of funds and volunteers to help preserve the valuable collection of historical items in Monroe County.
With the completion of the schoolhouse, members are now turning to their next projects which include the Bottling Works Exhibit and a Military Room.
